Here at Escort Norway we have always been a big exponent of gay rights. This is why we are quite conflicted on this video.
Christine Weick, an author from Michigan, stood at a busy intersection in Grandville, Michigan, on Sunday, May 11, holding a sign that read: “Thank your mom today for not being gay.”
As you probably know, that was on mothers day in the United States. Needless to say, reactions to her campaign were mixed.
A Icy Response
It was then that a woman named Jessica Prince approached Weick and threw a slushie at her. This was all caught on camera.
Weick responded by threatening Prince with a pepper spray, whilst Price gave her the finger.
Weick told one news agency ““Truth is hate to those that hate the truth, and this is the truth. They don’t like it and they label me a hater, and it isn’t that at all. I love them enough to tell them they are on the wrong path.”
Opposing placards were held right next to her, including “Thank your mom if you’re not a BIGOT! Judge not” and “F**k her.”
Cars drove past either honking in support, or questioning her views.
The problem with Prince’s behaviour is that she was the only person to act like an idiot. Everybody else who came up to Weick was able to have a reasoned debate, and Weick remained well mannered throughout.
This debate can get heated, but violence is never the right option. Proper discussion is the only way forward.
Norway is leading the way tolerance for all. The Bergen escorts are a much loved part of our society, as well as gay people and transsexuals, and people of different colour.
We will fight a fairer society with our words; not with slushie’s.
