Pig Saves Woman’s Sex Life!

I bet that isn’t a story title you thought you’d be reading today! That doesn’t make it any less true, as a pig’s intestine has been used to allow a woman to have sex.

You really couldn’t make this up.

Scleroderma

The Czech woman suffered from Scleroderma, a condition that leads to the hardened and tightening of skin. It can lead to tears and bleeding, as well as the tightening and limitation of movement.

It is a common problem, but for the woman it was killing her love life. Her vagina began to tighten and it got to a point where she could no longer have sex as it was too painful.

Not only did the opening to the vagina constrict so much that her partner could not get his penis in, but it also decreased the natural juices in her body, which made it even more difficult.

“Many women suffer the same problem,” said Dr Vladimir Kalis, who treated the woman, “But are too embarrassed to ask for help.”

Thankfully for this woman she went to visit her gynaecologist. The gynaecologist immediately passed the matter on to the University Hospital in Plzen, where doctors had an idea on just how they could save this woman’s sex life.

Mesh Augmented Vaginal Reconstruction

In order to widen the area, the doctors needed to use material from other places. In the end, they settled on a pig’s intestine, as they know of a similar procedure for those with a narrow bladder that also used the part.

However, their research suggested it had never been done before. Did that stop them? Of course not. A woman’s sex life was at risk here!

They decided to go through with the procedure to try and enlarge the area that had narrowed. Then, they would use the pig’s intestine to lengthen it and, over time, the woman’s body would grow around it to fix them problem.

Sounds strange, right? I don’t know how I’d feel about it if doctors told me the only way to save my sex life was to use a pig’s intestine‚Ķ but for this woman it worked!

It’s a miracle of medicine!

Dr Kalis stated that “the patient is very happy now. The gynaecological examinations are not painful any more.”

Fantastic news! However, there is more, and it might not be good news for the Czech woman or her partner.

The doctor went on to say that “although we advised her not to engage in sexual activity at the moment, she should be able to recover a full and active sex life in about two years.”

Two years?! Two years without sex?! I couldn’t do it.

Would you be able to resist the temptation of no sex for two years? Sure, it is for a great reason, but if it wasn’t would you wait? Will you look at pigs and bacon in the same way?
