What Happens When You Stop Having Sex?

We love having sex. It feels fantastic and gives you the chance to get really intimate and close with another person. Often, people talk about the many benefits of jumping into bed with somebody… but what happens if you aren’t getting any? What happens when you stop having sex?

What Happens When You Stop Having Sex

It turns out that there are a few things that can happen… and most of them aren’t good. So what happens when you stop having sex?

You start to lose interest

When you haven’t had sex for a while, the idea of having sex isn’t as appealing to you as it used to be. When you do want sex you might not want the same kind of intense pleasure you did previously. You just want your orgasm and that is it, with none of the teasing foreplay leading up to it.

You just aren’t in the mood for it, because you aren’t getting any. You might think about it, but you won’t have the same longing for it that you did before. When you do have sex, you’ll find that you aren’t up to your previous standards, which can leave you feeling pretty lousy.

After an encounter like that you simply won’t want to repeat it. This means that we start to lose interest in sex, simply because we aren’t having it.

You feel low

When you are fucking your body releases endorphins. These happy hormones make you feel good, and you can get these endorphins in a number of other ways, such as through exercise. However, sex is often the most enjoyable way to get them.

If you were to stop having sex you wouldn’t get these hormones as frequently. You might find that you start to feel low. Over time, you would find that you feel sad more often than usual.

You could even feel a little more stressed. For many people, sex is a great form of stress relief. When you’ve had a tough day at work you might find that jumping into bed is a great way to let off steam. Without this regular input, you could become more stressed as well as left feeling low.

Your fitness levels decrease

It might not be the most intense kind of exercise, but sex totally counts. It gets your heart racing enough that you will burn calories while at it. In fact, there are a few sex calculators online to tell you exactly how many calories you are burning in the sack.

Removing sex means that you don’t get this regular exercise. Without this same heart racing fun, your might find that things don’t run as smoothly in your body. Regular sex can help to keep your heart happy and healthy. The aerobic exercise will help your body function, and without it you might find that you slow down a little. It can really benefit your general health if you keep at it.
