Forget Cologne: Sweat Is More Attractive To Women

We’ve all heard that the body’s natural pheromones can help to attract a mate, but professors in Norway are suggesting that you throw out your beauty products all together!

A Better Chance?

Professor James Mercer, of the University of Tromsø, says that skipping the deodorant after a shower will attract give you a better chance with the ladies than any aftershave could.

Couple drinking wineAccording to the research, people unconsciously respond to pheromones. Pheromones are some of the chemicals that come out from your body naturally, but more-so when you sweat, and as antiperspirants prevent you from sweating, they could be cutting down your chances of pulling.

Support for the study

The study is also supported by Professor Per Schioldborg from the University of Oslo. “When it comes to sex, there is little doubt that other people smell affects us,” says Schioldborg.

They also admit that, while it may not be a conscious thong, women are more likely to respond to the smell of a natural man. This suggests that getting rid of the sweet smelling products is going to give you a better chance with the ladies.

Will you ditch the cologne?

I don’t know about you, but I won’t be trying to any time soon! I’m going to take a shower and get myself ready for my date with a Hordaland escort. I’m sure they appreciate good cologne!
