Circumcision: Does It Lead To Better Sex?

There are so many things that people like to talk about. Sex is one of the biggest topics, as there are so many different things for you to discuss there. We talk about sex because we like to know what other people are getting up to in the bedroom, and if the things that they are doing are better than the things that we are doing. We get a little bit competitive, which is why a lot of people like to debate that they get better sex simply because they had a circumcision.

There are so many different reasons why people might go for a circumcision, but the fact of the matter is that people are constantly talking about whether getting a circumcision is a good idea. Some argue that it leads to better sex, while others say that it just makes them feel a hell of a lot sexier and attractive in the long run. But does it actually work? Does getting a circumcision really lead to a better sex life?

Why do people get circumcised?

There are so many different reasons why someone might choose to get circumcised, and it isn’t all about getting a better sex life. For some people, that might well be the reason. They might decide that their foreskin is getting in the way of them having amazing and mind blowing sex, but a lot of people do it for other reasons.

For example, those suffering with phimosis might get a circumcision simply to get rid of the pain and make it easier for them. Phimosis is when the foreskin is too tight, which can lead to a lot of difficulties and uncomfortable feelings, especially if you are dating someone who isn’t entirely sure how to deal with it. So, they might get the snip just to make it easier.

A lot of people also do it for religious reasons. Their beliefs tell them that this is the best thing that they can do to their member, and so they will go through the procedure. It is also a lot more hygienic, as there is no folded skin for germs to hide in. This means that your partner will be more likely to wrap their lips around your cock because it is nice and clean. Honestly, there is nothing as unattractive as a dirty dick.

The fear

That said, a lot of people don’t agree with getting a circumcision. One of the main reasons is the pain and the recovery period. When you get circumcised, the foreskin is snipped. Your cock has nowhere to hide and will stand proudly out, whether you are turned on or not. This requires a long recovery period, and those erections you get while you wait are going to sting a little.

Some people also feel that they are losing a piece of themselves. They think that getting a circumcision somehow means you aren’t quite the man that you were before.

Others might decide that they just don’t like the idea, and that having your foreskin makes it easier for sex. Your partner won’t have to use tons and tons of lube to give you a handjob, and they won’t need to salivate all over your dick to make it slide easier into their mouth.

The preferences of men

It shouldn’t really be surprising that this is one of the many areas of life that people have decided to research. They couldn’t simply leave it up in the air, as they had to know the answer.

One study, conducted by members of the Queen’s University Department of Psychology in Canada decided to find out if there is a difference to how we look at the dick when it is circumcised and when it is not.

Unsurprisingly, they discovered that ladies seemed to prefer men to have the procedure when it came to blowjobs and sex, as it was a lot more hygienic and looked more attractive to them. However, the difference was only slight. It seems that we ladies can take it or leave it.

On the other hand, it seemed that men felt a little more strongly about it. They were much more positive about having “intact” or uncircumcised members for every sexual occasion.

Is it best to be circumcised?

Leading on from this, the American Urological Association decided to see whether being circumcised made that much of a difference. They wanted to know if sex was better with or without the foreskin.

They talked to and analysed 62 men, between the ages of 18 and 37, to find out what the answer was. They examined a number of different areas of their cock, including the head, shaft, base, and foreskin, if it was present. They wanted to know if they were more sensitive to touch, heat, and pain in these areas.

The study found that, although a number of men seemed to be slightly more sensitive, thanks to their foreskin, there wasn’t really a huge difference… or at least not enough to go bragging about a better sex life.

Does circumcision lead to better sex?

While the study above suggests that there isn’t a huge difference, it was only a small scale study, and there have been others to suggest that, actually, getting a circumcision might be the worst thing you can do for your sex life. One study found that it was harder to achieve orgasm after the procedure, and that the number saying their sex lives worsened were much higher than those saying it had gotten better.

There are also a number of studies that have shown that the foreskin is important not just for pleasure, but also for your ego. It seems that men feel better with a whole member.

So, does having a circumcision lead to better sex? It seems that, in a lot of cases, the answer is unclear. Some say yes, and some say no. So we want to hear from you. Is having a circumcision going to give you better sex?
